Will Ahsoka or Other Jedi Appear in 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'?
With 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' coming to screens as soon as on Friday, the level of excitement and expectations rises to its peak.
Ahsoka Tano is one of the most beloved characters in 'Star Wars ' franchise – and one of the most anticipated Jedi to possibly cameo in 'Obi-Wan Kenobi '. Hopes for her appearance are not baseless, as the final trailer for the show is starting with Obi-Wan sending a message to his fellow Jedi, albeit a pessimistic one: "We lost".
But it doesn't mean that every Jedi will listen to Kenobi and actually "stay hidden", and so fans hope that among those who decide to make an appearance could be Ahsoka. She has already landed her own solo show, which, just like 'Obi-Wan Kenobi', will also feature Hayden Christensen 's Darth Vader.
Ahsoka is not the only one whose cameo fans hope to see in 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'.
However, the show's director Deborah Chow has indicated in an interview with EW that 'Kenobi' will largely introduce more cameos from prequels rather than characters that have already been introduced.
"Given the nature of our characters, the strongest connective tissue is to the prequels for us," Chow said. "Because in large part, that's where our characters are coming from and that's where their stories started. So really the prequels are sort of the most connected to our series."
Still, she never rebuked fans' theories about the possible appearance of Ahsoka or any other awaited character.
It's a good thing we don't have to wait for too long to see for ourselves, as 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' premieres on May 27 on Disney Plus.
