Euphoria does not shy away from exploring the sexuality of its characters, sometimes going into full explicit mode. However, there is one character whose sexuality seems out of the question - and still causes heated debate in the fandom.
Yes, Nate Jacobs is perhaps the show's most prominent alpha male, who has undoubtedly broken many a girl's heart. However, his heterosexuality is so out there that fans sometimes doubt that he is actually straight.
Of course, his family background, in the form of a father who had a secret gay life and occasionally groomed minors, adds to this.

Nate has many demons to fight, and even his nightmare of being in the place of the hookers his father slept with has a lot to say about him.
But it's not just trauma that defines Nate. Those who think he might be gay (or bisexual) point to the mere fact that he has a lot of photos of men on his phone. Many people think it is more likely that he is bi or coming to terms with his sexuality than that he is 'out and proudly gay'.

Euphoria has been given the go-ahead for a third series, which is due to start filming "soon", although no exact shooting or premiere dates have been announced so far.
