The mysterious dragon is yet to enter House of the Dragon alongside her not less mysterious master.

House of the Dragon ’s war preparations in season 2 are a great opportunity for more fire-spitting creatures to prove themselves in the upcoming battles, yet some of them may still take their time before joining the Blacks or the Greens’ forces in the fight for the Iron Throne.

Despite the dragons’ own dynasty crisis in the show, George R.R. Martin’s novel Fire & Blood is still a more reliable source when it comes to counting all the beasts eager to tear their fellow dragons apart, and a couple of the Targaryens’ loyal pets are likely to come up on the main stage sooner than anyone could imagine.

The closer Westeros is getting to an inevitable bloody war, the more chances there are for the show to introduce the Greens’ new team member accompanied by a new dragon.

Should House of the Dragon follow George R.R. Martin’s rules when the war between the Blacks and the Greens unfolds, the series will sooner or later reunite the Greens with their long-lost family member Daeron Targaryen, King Viserys I and Alicent Hightower’s third son and fourth child.

As Fire & Blood suggests, Daeron spends years away from his family living in House Hightower in Oldtown, but comes back home once Otto Hightower is dismissed as Hand of King.

As a child, Daeron forms a bond with a female dragon who he names Tessarion, and both are eventually taking the Greens’ side when Daeron is welcomed back to the family not long before the war unfolds.

Proclaimed the Blue Queen due to her dark cobalt color, Tessarion is a charmingly good-looking, yet unexperienced dragon compared to her fellow beasts.

What Is the Size of Tessarion?

She is three times smaller than Vhagar who isn’t even the biggest threat for her since Tessarion’s demise has nothing to do with other dragons whatsoever.

During the Second Battle of Tumbleton, Tessarion engages into a fight with the Blacks’ Addam Velaryon on Seasmoke and ultimately is severely wounded falling onto the ground and trying to survive until she’s killed with the enemies’ arrows.

Daeron’s fate remains a mystery though, and his body is eventually never found after the battle.
