The world of House of the Dragons is filled with fire-breathers and skilled riders, but can they outshine the Mother of Dragons herself?

The Targaryen family has produced many strong and powerful individuals throughout history. Two notable women of this family, Rhaenyra and Daenerys, have gained attention for their strength and leadership.

Rhaenyra is the daughter of King Viserys I and was known as the Grace of the Realm. She had a strong claim to the Iron Throne and declared herself queen after the father's death, leading to a civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.

Daenerys is the daughter of the Mad King Aerys II Targaryen. She possesses three powerful dragons, Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.

The queen has amassed a formidable army of Unsullied, Dothraki, and other followers, and has proven to be a charismatic leader.

Rhaenyra fought fiercely for her claim to the throne, despite being a woman in a male-dominated society. Daenerys showed great skill and resilience in surviving the Baratheons' attempts to kill her and in conquering cities across Essos.

But of course, while Rhaenyra fought on her own soil, Daenerys had a much harder road to travel to demonstrate her full right to the crown of Westeros.

In addition to taking the eastern cities, she gave birth to three dragons, walked through fire, and sat on the throne in King's Landing.

Daenerys' strength cannot be questioned, for her journey has been much longer and more difficult. But when it comes to a direct confrontation, fans naturally side with Rhaenyra.

The heir to the Iron Throne has at least ten more dragons, and they are even bigger than Drogon.

Viewers also note that Rhaenyra is a more experienced rider, having been trained by masters since childhood, while Daenerys learned everything on her own.

Both queens were strong women who left their mark on the history of Westeros.

They shared the Targaryen name and a claim to the Iron Throne, but their individual strengths and weaknesses set them apart.
