When The Buccaneers debuted on Apple TV+ on November 7, the female half of the audience was glued to the screen by the show's gorgeous visuals and intricate storyline. And just like in real life, all the characters of the show are so twisted and illogical in their behavior that it makes it much easier for viewers to identify with them.

Aries (March 20 - April 19): Nan St. George

Well, it was an easy choice, frankly, because Nan is the wildest character of all in the series. She's free spirited, her behavior defies any logical explanation, and she really does whatever she wants despite what's best for her and the people around her. As with every other Aries figure, the things that make her the perfect person also make her the worst.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20): Mabel Elmsworth

Mabel is the perfect example of a Taurus: she is confident, she is stubborn, she knows what she wants, even if she is sometimes confused. She loves her comfort and is willing to do anything to keep her life from changing. Mabel is also a bright representative of the LGBTQ community, and although she can't openly embrace her true self, she still manages to carry it through the series with dignity.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20): Theo, The Duke Of Tintagel

Another perfect example of a character-Zodiac match is Theo as a Gemini. At first he comes off as this sweet, ideal, creative person who finds peace in art and dreams of finding love. However, as the series progresses, we get to see his darker side and realize that he is not as simple as he first seems. The twisted dual nature of Gemini follows him in every life choice he makes.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Jinny St. George

It may seem strange at first that we identify Jinny as a Cancer, but you'll agree once you hear us out. When we first saw her, we didn't quite understand her true nature, we just found out that she is a dreamy girl who wants to get married more than anything else. And as a true Cancer, she's willing to go to risky lengths to follow her dream, even if it's far from healthy.

Leo (July 23 - August 22): Mrs. St. George

One of the most dramatic characters in the series is actually the most wholesome. Nobody ever knew that Mrs. St. George's life was actually so difficult and full of daily torture of living with a man she despises. She always has a smile on her face, she manages to let go of everything bad that happens to her, and most importantly, she can be considered a real leader of her family, as she was the one who raised the girls to be so free-spirited and open-minded.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Miss Testvalley

What we know about Miss Testvalley isn't much, but it's definitely enough to realize what kind of person she is, and she's definitely a Virgo. She is a dedicated soul who, once finding her purpose, sticks to it, even if she realizes after a while that it's not something she really needs.

Miss Testvalley can also be appreciated for the mere fact that when she was finally confronted with the reality that she was not wanted anymore, she quickly disappeared from the place where she was no longer needed, as all Virgos would do.

Libra (September 23 - October 22): Richard Marable

Richard is a Libra because, like any typical representative of the sign, it takes him years to make up his mind about anything. He is always hesitant about everything and a little push from any side will make him change his mind, like at the beginning of the series, right before his wedding with Conchita. He actually came there to say no because his parents made him, but after Nan reminded him that he loves Conchie, he pursued the wedding.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): Lord James Seadown

No need to think twice here; the most sinister and literally abusive character in the entire series is Lord James Seadown (sorry, Scorpios, it’s your reputation, not you). We first realize this after witnessing the devastating scene with Lizzy, the one that will leave her broken for a long time.

He plays with people's feelings as if they were his toys and then makes them believe it was nothing. Frankly, we think there should be a whole new zodiac for him, because even Scorpios are not that cruel.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21): Conchita Closson

Conchita is faithful and intelligent, but also romantic and easy to believe in whatever she finds appealing. She is also always confident that the world is her oyster, which makes her an ideal Sagittarius. She is a passionate woman and almost always lets her heart decide for her. Which, of course, sometimes ends badly.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19): Guy Thwarte

Capricorns are famous for their intelligence, foresight, and ability to read people, and that's certainly all our Guy can be defined by. However, he is the one who is impossible to read: first he appears on screen as the good guy we immediately start rooting for, then he turns into the devil himself. He struggles with his feelings like all Capricorns do, and that's why he's always haunted by his own life choices.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18): Lizzy Elmsworth

We know we have used the word free-spirited a lot here, but well, Lizzy is another young woman with a soul like that, but she may need a little push from the outside to realize she is capable or more than she gives herself credit for. She is loyal, she is kind and caring, but when needed, she is willing to step up. The only thing is, you may have to give her some time before she is ready.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20): Honoria Marable

The dreamiest character in the whole series is Honoria. We first see her as an uptight young woman who is not even willing to have fun. Only later do we realize that she just simply has no idea how to live this kind of life. Fortunately for her, Mabel later introduces Honoria to her actual feelings and the true nature of the friendly Honoria literally comes out.
