Where Is The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki Today?
What happened to the actor behind Leonard after the grand finale?
The Big Bang Theory may have ended, but fans are already missing their favorite characters and the actors who portrayed them.
Although some of them are making appearances in the series' prequel Young Sheldon, most of them seem to be staying in the dark. One of the quietest of the cast would be Johnny Galecki, who portrayed fan-favorite Leonard.
It's safe to say that The Big Bang Theory has been a wild ride for every actor in the cast, but especially for Galecki, who has had the full range of rising star experiences.
From fighting with a co-star behind the scenes to getting involved in a romantic relationship. Today, however, the actor seems to be staying out of the spotlight.
After his last appearance on screen as nerdy scientist Leonard Hofstadter in 2019, Galecki hasn't been extremely active in his career, seemingly taking a break.
This is understandable, considering the actor welcomed his first child with former partner Alaina Meyer in November 2019. Unfortunately, the couple separated in 2020.
Despite being involved in his personal life, the actor has managed to make a few appearances here and there over the years.
For example, he took on the role of Henry Montgomery in the 2019 family film A Dog's Journey and reprised his role as David Healy in four episodes of the Roseanne sequel The Conners.
Although the actor doesn't seem to be rushing back to his career right after The Big Bang Theory ends, fans are still patiently waiting for him to return to their screens.
Now that there is an officially announced sequel to the iconic sitcom, with no confirmed premise or cast, there is hope that Galecki will at least make a cameo appearance.
If you don't feel like waiting for more details, the good news is that there are already 11 seasons of The Big Bang Theory available to stream on Netflix or MAX.
