Remember Romilda Vane, the girl who gave Harry Potter chocolates laced with Love Portion in the hopes of winning him over? Today, Harry would regret turning her down.

In the more than 21 years since the first film was released, Harry Potter fans have witnessed many amazing transformations. And they were not magical. They happened at the whim of nature.

Children grow. And often they glow up. Probably the most famous transformation happened to Matthew Lewis and his character Neville Longbottom, who in the last two installments of the franchise looked nothing like the awkward, fumbling nerd he was in the first films. His glow-up even got its own term, "Longbottoming," which means going from unattractive to hot as hell.

Of course, in addition to Matthew Lewis, there have been other Harry Potter cast members who have Longbottomed in the years since their time in the beloved franchise. One of them is Anna Shaffer, who played Romilda Vane in three Harry Potter movies.

Shaffer was cast as the Harry-obsessed Gryffindor in 2007 when she was just 15 years old. Though casual viewers may not remember the curly-haired girl, fans will recall how she tried to bewitch Harry with the help of a love potion that was accidentally consumed by Ron. Weasley then developed such a crush on the girl ("I think... Harry, I think I love her") that Harry had to take him to Slughorn for an antidote.

This hilarious scene was not the only time Romilda appeared in the movies. The girl seemed to be in love with Harry even after he started dating Ginny. The true Gryffindor that she was, Ramilda joined Dumbledore's Army and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, surviving it.

Today, 15 years after she was first cast in the franchise, Anna Shaffer looks almost unrecognizable. Earlier this month, the actress attended the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party and rocked it with her incredible look. The Harry Potter alum paired an elegant silk gray dress with metallic heels, naturally curly hair, and dark red lipstick.

Wizarding World fans will have a hard time recognizing the sweet, baby-faced girl that Anna was when she played Romilda Vane. Since that iconic role, the actress has grown up both physically and professionally. She has taken on a number of amazing roles, including Ruby Button in the E4 soap opera Hollyoaks and Triss Merigold in The Witcher.
