We won't see that finale in May after all.

Now that main star Jared Padalecki appears to have suffered a car accident, concerns have arisen not only about his health (he is said to be fine and recovering at home), but also about how it will affect the projects he's involved in.

The season finale of The CW's 'Walker ' was originally scheduled to air on May 5. However, the network then announced that fans should be bracing for the summer date, slating the finale, titled 'Champagne Problems', to air on Thursday, June 23. It will also keep its 8/7c timeslot.

Additionally, the series has already been greenlit for season 3, so even if there's a cliffhanger in the end, we'll find out how it works out eventually at some point.

However, the previous weekend news about Jared Padalecki, who portrays Cordell Walker, recovering from a car accident, has prompted a lot of concern among the fans. Little is known about the accident, with only Jensen Ackles revealing last Sunday during NJ 'Supernatural ' con that Jared was lucky to be alive, and he is currently at home, not hospitalized.

Jensen did not share the exact date when the accident happened, and there have been no official statements neither from the Padalecki family nor from the CW network regarding how (and if) the incident affected Jared's or the network's schedule.

When it comes to 'Walker', it doesn't look like the schedule has changed because of the news, with the final episode still slated for Thursday, June 23. On April 28, sticking to the schedule, a new episode of 'Walker' titled 'Bygones' will air, expected to become available on The CW platform a day later.
