The fall from stardom is actually a thing that is hard to prevent from happening.

Lindsay Lohan is an example of how a kid actor can quickly become a world-known and appreciated star.

She actually started her acting career at the age of 7, when she appeared on Sesame Street, the show that was extremely popular and watched by every kid at that time.

Her big break came in 1998 in Disney 's remake of The Parent Trap. This movie was her first lead role, and is actually considered her big screen debut.

After that, it did not take long for her career to take an immediate turn for the better. Lohan starred in many movies that became hits at the time.

For example, Get A Clue and Freaky Friday. But that was all before her biggest career break.

Mean Girls premiered in 2004 and Lohan played Cady Heron, the "good girl" of the movie. The success was immediate and the role became the most defining of her acting career.

And the teen comedy became a real phenomenon and a cult classic.

After the success of Mean Girls, her path to stardom was immediate, even though she was already popular enough. She continued to get roles in successful movies and was a very desirable actress.

She even started a music career, and frankly, she was good at it. Her songs were catchy and the audience (mostly teenage girls) really enjoyed them. Until 2007, her life seemed to be full and she seemed happy.

But then the time came for Lohan to feel overwhelmed with all the fame she was getting after Mean Girls and her other big projects. This is where her journey to the bottom begins.

Lohan has faced a series of personal and legal problems that began with a well-publicized DUI car accident in 2007 when she was only 20 years old. After that came a lot of failures, arrests, etc., mostly because of her reckless party lifestyle.

She literally burned bridges with Hollywood because all the producers were disappointed in her. A drug addicted alcoholic was who Lindsay was at that time. As a result, her career immediately went downhill.

She spent a lot of time in rehab to get back on her feet. And finally it paid off! The surprising comeback happened in 2022 when she starred in a holiday movie titled Falling for Christmas.

But that's not all. She seems to be back on track, as there are rumors of even bigger projects with her in the near future.

So let's hope Lindsay makes the best of her second chance!
