What have been the four stars up to?

In 2005, the film adaptation of C. S. Lewis' fantasy book The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe captured the hearts of young and adult audiences. A few years later, two more installments of the film series were released, and they were every bit as good as the first.

Many fell in love at first sight with the plucky children of the Pevensie family, with the actors who played them becoming famous instantly after the first movie premiered. However, few people know what happened to the young stars after the franchise ended.

Georgie Henley – Lucy Pevensie

Lucy was the youngest member of the Pevensie family. Georgie Henley, the actress who played her, was only 10 years old at the time of filming. The movie was Georgie's first major successful project, and she received the Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for Best Young Actress for her role.

After shooting the trilogy, the actress starred in the movies Perfect Sisters and The Sisterhood of Night, both released in 2014. She then decided to go to college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. In 2015, Henley directed her first short film Tide.

Skandar Keynes – Edmund Pevensie

Unfortunately for fans, the role of Edmund was Skandar Keynes' first and last — the young man preferred a career as a political advisor to acting. His grandfather was also an advisor to a Tunisian president, and the actor himself is known to be the great-great-great-grandson of Charles Darwin.

Skandar works in the British Parliament now. In his free time, he enjoys taekwondo and plays the flute.

Anna Popplewell – Susan Pevensie

The 17-year-old actress wasn't a newcomer to the industry when she first arrived on the set of The Chronicles of Narnia. Anna Popplewell had been involved in film projects since 1998 and even auditioned for the role of Hermione in the Harry Potter franchise.

However, it was the role of Susan Pevensie that brought her worldwide fame. The actress later played Lady Lola in the famous series Reign. Popplewell's latest project is the horror movie The Nun II, scheduled for release in September of this year.

William Moseley – Peter Pevensie

William Moseley's role in The Chronicles of Narnia helped him build an outstanding career in film and television. After the fantasy franchise, he appeared in several TV series, including Perception, The Selection, and The Royals.

One of Moseley's most recent projects is 2022's historical drama Medieval, in which he appeared alongside Michael Caine and Til Schweiger. Notably, he also portrayed Edgar Allan Poe in Raven's Hollow (2022).
