Candice King became world famous thanks to one role – Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries.

Candice King was on The Vampire Diaries from the beginning to the end, and although her character initially annoyed most fans, Caroline received one of the most impressive character developments on the show, making her a fan favorite.

King began her career in 2005 and her first works were episodic roles in the shows like Supernatural and How I Met Your Mother. The low-budget action movie Pirate Camp, shot in 2007, became the first movie in which Candice was entrusted with the lead role.

Then there was a hiatus in the actress' career, which was punctuated by occasional episodic roles in movies and TVshows.

In 2009, Candice auditioned for the series The Vampire Diaries, which almost immediately became a hit due to the popularity of the vampire theme at the time and is still considered one of the best shows about vampires.
