What is the First MCU Movie in Chronological Order?
Although there are several upcoming Marvel films to look forward to, the narrative of the original Avengers is now over (sad face!).
Finding the correct sequence to watch all movies might be difficult given that there have only been 29 movies released (as of now). Undoubtedly, the release sequence is important, but is it the best?
The sequence was established when the movies were initially released to guarantee that the audience understood what to know and when. But as of right now, we pretty much have the whole picture. Rather than attempting to piece together riddles or generate theories about how the MCU functions, we can simply watch as everything unravels.
Before we even start ranking them, there has always been a disagreement about which MCU movie should be the first in our series. In reality, the bone of contention arises when contrasting the MCU films in order of when each movie was released in theaters with the Marvel movies in order of chronological events. So, what qualifies a movie as "MCU-approved"?

Let us just get the facts straight: what makes a film MCU-approved? Technically, everything has always existed according to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), thanks to the endless universe. However, we'd want to focus on what may be called the first-ever Marvel Cinematic Universe film.
Every Marvel property, according to the Marvel Database, has a place in the larger Marvel multiverse. This covers movies, TV shows, cartoons, and even video games. Nobody wants to think of 1996's Howard the Duck as the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film. But why so? It's not cool enough? Maybe.
If you follow that reasoning, then 'Spider-Man' from 2002 should be regarded as the first Marvel Cinematic film, rather than 'Iron Man.' As one fan suggested on Twitter, without the Spider-Man films from the 2000s, Iron Man and the Avengers films may well not exist. Even though Iron Man launched the MCU in 2008, it has since grown to incorporate more characters (credits to Spider-Man: No Way Home).
The First MCU Movie in Chronological Order
The majority of the Marvel films are sequential, however some document events that take place simultaneously with those from previous films. For example, "Thor: Ragnarok" takes place around the same time as "Ant-Man and the Wasp," with both films building up to "Avengers: Infinity War. "
The MCU plot is separated into three parts that comprise The Infinity Saga, which begins with "Iron Man" and concludes with "Avengers: Endgame." Phase Four features "Black Widow" and "Shang-Chi," and it started with the Disney+ program "WandaVision."
The most recent MCU film, "Thor: Love and Thunder, " is set sometime after "Doctor Strange 2" and "Ms. Marvel" and occurs after the happenings of "Avengers: Endgame." Are you still following?
In all honesty, if you really want to watch the MCU movies in chronological order, you must begin with "Captain America: The First Avenger." By no means the finest Marvel film, but considering that it takes place during World War II, specifically 1942, it has the oldest setting.
Go back into time and watch as Captain America battles HYDRA posing as Nazis and falls for Peggy Carter before being trapped in ice to allow him to easily go ahead in time to the present and join the Avengers. Here is where it all started.
