Rumor has it, not every character will be there in season 12. Well, with the shocking ending of season 11, this news came as a thunderbolt to the fans.
It's almost impossible to guess whose storylines will be cut and who will get even more screen time in the upcoming season.
The NBC show always provided its fans with lots of drama, but sometimes it was just nice to have some characters who are not there to suffer, but to live a life.

Joe told everyone that Severide had completed his arson investigation training without telling Stella Kidd. Well, what a bombshell that was!
Even though Cruz didn't realize it at the time, when he returns for season 12, we're sure there will be a real confrontation.
It's clear that Severide is hiding some things from Kidd, but it's still not entirely obvious why, so the fact that Cruz has been dragged into this complex situation is not ideal for him. But it will eventually give him a key role to play.
