What is the heartthrob of the cult series up to these days?

Gossip Girl became one of the most popular TV shows of the 2010s. After this show, the actors became incredibly famous all over the world.

Ed Westwick who played Chuck Bass, the main handsome man of the show, should have been in demand at least because of his looks. In fact, that is what happened.

After the pilot episode, Ed Westwick became incredibly popular.

It is worth noting that Ed began receiving offers for roles even while he was working on Gossip Girl. For example, he played one of the lead roles in the movie 100 Feet and later appeared in the movie S. Darko.

There was also the melodrama Chalet Girl in Ed's career.

One of the most memorable roles in Westwick's filmography was the movie J. Edgar. He played the role of Agent Smith and was able to work with Leonardo DiCaprio.

But the more popular Ed became, the more negative things happened in his life. For example, he got involved in a sex scandal.

He was accused of sexual assault by four women at once. The cancel culture was already in its infancy, so he was less likely to be invited to the movies.

However, in 2018 it was announced that all charges against him were dropped. Ed's career has resurfaced, although so far he hasn't starred in anything as high-profile as Gossip Girl.

The actor played a leading role in the TV series White Gold. The show tells the story of a prestigious Essex salon in 1983, run by charismatic salesman Vincent, smart, handsome and tough, who is happy to break the rules if it allows him to sell something.

In 2023, the actor starred in the thriller DarkGame. Ed played a detective trying to stop a twisted dark web game show where the captives are forced to fight for their lives.
