We Might Finally Know Who Wanda Fights With in 'Multiverse of Madness'
Superior Iron Man fans, you'll have to wait a bit longer to see him in the MCU.
With the new, clearer look at the mysterious rival of Wanda Maximoff in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness', fans are almost 100% sure that the Scarlet Witch will cross swords with a variant of Captain Marvel...
...and it might be Maria Rambeau.
According to fans, in one of the timelines that Wanda and Strange are set to find themselves in, Rambeau became Captain Marvel instead of Carol Denvers.
This theory is a major blow for those who believed that Wanda's mysterious rival is in fact Superior Iron Man – the variant of Tony Stark that some people expected to be portrayed by Tom Cruise.
However, even if Wanda is indeed set to fight the Captain Marvel variant, it does not necessarily rule out the possibility of an Iron Man cameo in the movie. Who knows just how many timelines there are, and who inhabits them?
We will get to finally know more about it on May 6, when 'Multiverse of Madness' hits theaters.
