Virgin River Season 5 Set Pics Tease Curious New Pairings
Ever since the 4th season of the phenomenal Virgin River wrapped up, fans have been clamoring to see their old favorites again. So when the 5th season was greenlit and began production, people finally got what they were dreaming of.
The show has a strong and loyal audience and is doing well critically. So the question wasn't if there would be the 5th season, but when.
Season 4 of the Virgin River ended with a few loose ends scattered. Perhaps that's why the wait has felt like an age. Denny finally revealed to Lizzie that he had Huntington's while Brie's ex returned to her life again.
The Paige, Preacher, and Wes dynamic go insanely heated, and Charmaine admits who the father of her twins is. It wasn't Jack. He was too busy popping the question to Mel. There are so many threads to weave and make into exciting stories, and we're all for it.

Because of the way the season ended, we don't know where things will go from here. But we have some ideas. That's because we have got our hands on some juicy behind-the-scenes and set photos that indicate more than a few things about the upcoming season. Jack and Mel have been shown hiking in the great hills and mountains of Vancouver. This is not surprising since they were to be wed by the end of the season, but it is refreshing to see that they're having fun.

Preacher is going to have much more to show and talk about. According to interviews and photo teases, we'll have the opportunity to know him better and explore his character. Colin Lawrence is back and better than ever. A picture of his character with the Marines seems like an exciting premise.
As for Denny and Lizzie, they are still together, apparently. Despite the shocking revelation that Denny has Huntington's, Lizzie appears to be still close to him. According to Smith, the story will not be grim or depressing. Rather, the pair would try to find light in the dire situation, which is on-point for the characters. The new stories will be handled well if that's the case.

We don't know much about Brie's story, but it's clear that the return of her ex doesn't bode well. But, on the other hand, this might give Brady and Mike a reason to involve themselves deeper in her life. Maybe she gets with one of them. Maybe not. We'll have to see.
Jack and Charmaine are seen together in one of the set photos, which might mean that the two aren't going to part ways or burn bridges anytime soon. We can only anticipate what'll happen. On the other hand, Cameron is in the first episode.
The show is set to have another stellar season with all the twists and turns you have come to expect. The release date is expected to be around the summer of 2023. If you ask us, the summer can't come sooner. The winter has been long enough, and all we need now is the next season and the sun. So when are you watching it?
