Apparently Cesarus is the only one for whom two things at once is not too much.

Virgin River debuted in 2019 and quickly became a Netflix hit, even if it seemed a bit unexpected at first.

The show has 4 seasons for now, and the fifth is in the works.

And all these years fans were watching it with breathless attention, following every storyline Virgin River had to offer. And frankly, there were a lot of dramatic plot twists to catch.

Now that the fifth season is upon us, the cast is getting ready to appear in newly-developed storylines. Take Tim Matheson, who plays Dr. Vernon Mullins – a kind but sometimes stingy character.

From the actor's point of view, his character's story is one of the most important in Virgin River and remains one of the show's most intriguing.

It's interesting to watch his on-again, off-again relationship with Hope McRea, played by Anette O'Toole.

Together they are the best duo that gives the fans joy and laughter.

But Matheson is not only the actor in Virgin River, he also directed several episodes of Virgin River. But as he later told Hello, he liked being the actor on the show more than the director.

He said that acting is more fun and enjoyable for him because he really appreciates his character and his story.

And being a director is a much more demanding role, so for now he is hesitating whether to continue directing the show.

He also shared that while directing he was still acting too, and it was really exhausting double duty.

But everything can change in a minute, once the Virgin River's showrunners decide they miss Tim Matheson's directorial work and want him behind the scenes…
