The Promising Story Behind Unprisoned
The plot of this dramedy revolves around Paige, a therapist and single mom who lives with her teenage son Finn in the suburbs of Minneapolis. Her seemingly calm life turns upside down when her dad Edwin gets out of prison.
You can now claim it’s good to finally see your father after all those years, but the point is, Edwin is a pain in the neck. Paige is afraid of him spoiling their life by his questionable and even illegal activities or eventually returning to prison.
The show promises to depict how Edwin adapts to the new life, communicates with Paige, Finn and, besides, his love interest from the past. However, it’s still led by Paige, whose personal life is in fact a total mess too.
