Ever since The Big Bang Theory 's prequel series began, there has been one storyline that viewers have been afraid to see actually happen on screen. Yes, it's the cheating scandal involving Sheldon's father, George.

We know from the original story that George Cooper had several affairs before he died. And one of those affairs may have been with Brenda Sparks, their neighbor and also a woman who works at the bowling alley nearby.

The thing is, in season 4, it was hinted that George and Brenda were starting to care for each other. At first it was just friendly and uncompromising, but we definitely saw a spark between them, and frankly, it just feels natural.

Of course we feel icky realizing that he is a married man, so any questionable interaction with another woman is non-negotiable, but unlike George and Mary, George and Brenda have so much in common that it is just hard to resist that kind of chemistry. And the fans feel it, too.
