'Under The Banner Of Heaven' Star Wyatt Russel Wants An U.S. Agent And Spider-Man Crossover
With his recent appearances in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' and 'Top Gun Maverick', Wyatt Russell is seemingly headed for true Hollywood stardom, and Feige should definitely take notice.
Russell was first introduced into the MCU as the new Captain America in last year's Disney + series 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier', but after the events of the series his character John Walker was forced to drop that title and was given a new superhero alias, U.S. Agent. Feige and Co. don't seem all that eager about working with the actor again, but the rising star is confident that he still has a lot to bring to future MCU projects.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about his role in the Andrew Garfield-led true-crime thriller 'Under the Banner of Heaven', Russell shared his thoughts on appearing in the potential MCU project with his co-star Garfield.
"I'll do a crossover with anyone they tell me to do a crossover with. I really enjoy playing the character and my experience working with Marvel was an unbelievable working experience … So, anytime I get the opportunity or hear about the chance to reprise a character or work for Marvel again, it's very exciting because the people are wonderful. So, hopefully, I'll get to do it again," Russel said.
The opportunity to see U.S. Agent and Garfield's Spider-Man together will appeal to many, and with the great chemistry shown in the AMC series, there's no doubt the possible project could be a hit. Fans have already loved Russell, calling his performance as U.S. Agent one of the best in the entire MCU, not to mention the Disney+ series.
