Uh-oh, Did Chicago Fire Just Call Out Fire Country?

In a recent episode of Chicago Fire, which aired on May 10, there was a scene that had all Fire Country fans on edge.

There was a dialogue between Mouch and Tony in which the former said:

"Come on! Some of these firefighter shows are a total crock. That guy had a beard. How you supposed to get a seal on a mask with a beard? Do they not care about the truth?"

At that time, Mouch was sitting on the couch, watching an unknown show about firefighters and expressing his displeasure with his whole appearance.

Although there was no mention of a specific series, there is every reason to believe that it would have been the new CBS hit Fire Country.

First, Mouch pointed out that the character of the show has a beard. After analyzing all the major shows about firefighters, we can say with certainty that all the characters from such shows have either no facial hair at all or light stubble.

And the only character with what you could call a beard is Bode from Fire Country.

In addition, Fire Country was at the center of a controversy after real firefighters announced that the show "is a misrepresentation of the professional all-hazards fire department and resource protection agency that Cal Fire is."

The series has been accused of having a large number of factual errors, unrealistic depictions of fires, and a one-sided portrayal of the controversial Conservation Fire Camps program.

We have already discussed all the aspects that have caused sharp criticism from the ordinary viewers as well as from the real experts.

So it seems that Chicago Fire took the opportunity to poke a little fun at their direct competitors.

But apparently Fire Country is all for nothing, because despite the scandals and accusations, the show's ratings remain consistently high.

The next episode of Chicago Fire will air on May 17, and Fire Country's season 1 final episode will be released on May 19.
