Sheldon must be very jealous.

Sometimes a show's casting is so good and all the actors embody their characters so perfectly that viewers begin to believe that it’s meant to be. Such is the case with The Big Bang Theory, and several significant facts about the actors' past work only prove that they are much more deeply connected than we can see from our side of the screen.

For example, Amy Farrah Fowler and Leonard Hofstadter may not appear to be the closest on screen, even though they are united by their love for Sheldon. However, their past holds a rather fun secret, which was revealed in an interview with Conan O'Brien at his late-night show.

As it turns out, the actors who portrayed Amy and Leonard, Mayim Bialik and Johnny Galecki, had the pleasure of working together on another set. While filming the sitcom called Blossom in the early '90s, they starred as Blossom Russo and Jason and had to film a rather awkward scene for any 14-year-old.

Though both actors admitted that the kiss their characters shared was the first for both of them on screen, Bialik added that the kiss with Galecki may have been the first for her in general. As sweet as that is, it just goes to show how many life experiences a child actor can be completely deprived of because of their job.

Fortunately, neither Galecki nor Bialik hold a grudge against Blossom's production team or each other for stealing such an important first from them. In fact, the two stars were even willing to reenact a scene on the spot during the interview many years later, so if you have ever wanted to see some Leonard/Amy action, this is your best bet.

Want to see more of Mayim Bialik and Johnny Galecki at the very beginning of their acting careers? Stream Blossom on Amazon Prime Video or Hulu. But if you get a little freaked out by what you see, you can always come back to The Big Bang Theory on Netflix or Max.
