Two Rumored Cameos That Ended Up Not Being in 'Multiverse of Madness'
Amidst all the surprises 'Multiverse of Madness' delivered, there definitely were a couple of disappointments for Marvel fans.
If you have yet to see 'Multiverse of Madness',
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!
Let's just get it over with: there's no Superior Iron Man (or Tom Cruise in any capacity) cameo in 'Multiverse of Madness', nor there's a Deadpool cameo either.
People have been hoping to see Tom Cruise's Iron Man in the MCU for what feels like years now, and when it was finally announced that 'Multiverse of Madness' would explore the concept of alternate universes further, Cruise's fans were beyond ecstatic. Numerous fan arts were made, imagining Tom Cruise in Superior Iron Man suit, and when there was a glimpse of someone in a superhero costume in one of the earliest 'Multiverse of Madness' teasers, Marvel fans immediately rushed to conclusion that it was, indeed, Superior Iron Man.
Here's What Tom Cruise Could Look Like As Superior Iron Man in 'Multiverse of Madness'
But, as it turned out in the end, it was actually Lashana Lynch's Captain Marvel using her powers in 'Multiverse of Madness' trailers, and there's no Iron Man cameo in the movie.
The situation with Deadpool's cameo, however, is slightly different. Rumour has it this cameo was actually filmed, but ultimately ended up on the cutting room floor. According to some movie insiders, Deadpool was going to appear in one of the post-credits scenes, joking about yet another Professor Xavier death. But at some point that plan was scrapped, and 'Multiverse of Madness' now features a Bruce Campbell cameo instead. Not everyone seems to be happy about it, though: some Marvel fans feel like a post-credit scene was "wasted", and the rumored Deadpool one would be much, much better.
