Twilight, franchise so cringeworthy it's beautiful, still gives fans something to talk about.

This time it's the fact that most fans didn't even notice that Rami Malek was in the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2. And given the strength of his hero, it's a crime of sorts.

Rami's character, Benjamin, is one of the members of the ancient Egyptian coven, can control the elements and... is one of the most powerful vampires in history.

But you can't really tell from the movie, huh? The film trivializing of Benjamin was so absurd that fans couldn't help but turn it into a meme.

Fans are also suggesting alternate endings to the movie that could totally happen if the writers were to allow Benjamin to use his powers to their full potential.

"Bella blocks offensive powers from the Volturi. Benjamin burns everyone to ash. The End," Reddit user Tacitus111 commented.

Obviously, the writers wanted Benjamin to be a part of the movie but not to the point of barbecuing the Volturi before they even do anything, so they made him as inconspicuous as possible.

No one probably expected that the inconsistency of the vampire's powers and his passive participation in the main battle would arouse the audience's suspicions.

"I too was super disappointed that Benjamin supposedly stood around and then only if they were going to lose at the end would open up a crack in the ground. Why would Zafrena not be able to blind everybody and Benjamin just light the Volturi on fire?" Reddit user BellaBlue06 said.

Fans were so unhappy with the short fate of the master of the elements that some of them are now demanding a Benjamin spinoff that would do the character justice.

This could play into the hands of the franchise, given Rami Malik's growing popularity in recent years.

And who knows, maybe in the wake of the trend for reboots, sequels and spinoffs fans have something to hope for.
