Top Three Animated Must-Sees in 2023
One could say that we have already seen it all in terms of animated movies.
We have had our fun with the Shrek saga (what could possibly top that?). We have spent many memorable moments with the Toy Story series. We are still not over old Disney cartoons, those were gold!
Why should we be excited for whatever 2023 brings us? Because 2022 was huge for the cinema industry in general and for animated movies in particular. Many production companies have taken note and are ready to keep the trend going.
DreamWorks, Netflix, Aardman… They all have great stuff in store for us! Here are some of the most anticipated movies of 2023.
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget
It has been over 20 years since the original Chicken Run first saw the light of day. Nevertheless, fans, all grown-up now, are ecstatic about the much-desired sequel.
Now we will finally find out what happens with Ginger and Rocky after their majestic escape from the farm. Life will probably seem easier, seeing as they are not going to be eaten.
Not so fast! The movie creators have thought up new exciting adventures for the happy couple. Let's hope that Ginger and Rocky won't chicken out in the face of danger…

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Part 1
In 2018, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse skyrocketed to the top of all the must-see movie lists. In 2023, its sequel is set to do the same. Considering the Spider-Verse premise, fans can expect the unexpected but in the best way possible!
Soon, we will dive into another Miles Morales' must-save-the-universe story and maybe even get to see new heartwarming moments with his bae Gwen Stacy.
Though they can travel through the Multiverse, we do not have such a luxury, so we will have to wait till June 2023 to enjoy Part 1!
Nimona
This fantasy adventure drama has been in the works since 2015, and fans of the comic series have given up all hopes to see its animated adaptation at least a couple of times.
Thankfully, Netflix has taken the production under its wing, and the release date is to be announced soon. The movie will tell a story of the teenage shapeshifter Nimona who becomes a target of assassination.
We don't know about you but we are beyond intrigued!
Anyway, fans seem excited about these soon-to-be releases. Let's hope nobody is disappointed.
