Oh the times when we got to enjoy the father-son dynamic between Peter Parker and Tony Stark... as well as Tom Holland and RDJ.

Every Marvel fan knows and cherishes the warm relationship that Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr have. The two seemed to be keen on delivering the chemistry almost as convincing as what their MCU characters had.

While Holland was the ultimate embodiment of the "Oh my God, it's Robert Downey Jr!" vibe, his on-and-off-screen godfather would just go full Tony Stark mode around him during the interviews and press tours.

Boy, at some point Downey Jr even FaceTimed Holland during an interview, and the Peter Parker actor had nothing to do but respond.

Later, he got his sweet revenge by crashing Downey Jr's interview by showing up in person.

But it turns out there was a point when this beautiful bromance could be ruined by... Holland ghosting Downey Jr. Yep, that's what the new generation dares to do to icons...

To be fair, though: Holland did it because his godfather called him in the middle of the night.

"I think we were in London, and he FaceTimed me at 2:00 in the morning, and I didn't even check who it was. I was like 'Who is that?' and I hung up. And I woke up in the morning, and in my phone he's saved as 'The Godfather'.

So I woke up and I panicked. I was like 'Oh my god I am so sorry I didn't mean to ghost you'. He obviously didn't reply for ages because of the time difference in LA," Holland told Seth Meyers during an interview at his talk show.

According to Tom, it was the "most stressful day" of his life, because he genuinely thought that his relationship with Downey was over.

Well, thank God Robert was perfectly fine with that. The two not only continued talking, but Tom even got to star in Robert's movie Doolittle. But we bet he no longer dares to ignore RDJ's calls...
