This Young Sheldon Theory Is On Another Meta Level

We all know Young Sheldon as a spin-off prequel to the BBT exploring the early life of Sheldon Cooper, but what if someone told you that it isn't so?

This may sound ridiculous (maybe it is), but a fan shared their theory on Reddit that suggests that the whole Young Sheldon TV show is a Sheldon's biographical show that exists within the Big Bang Theory universe.

The idea behind the theory revolves around the fact that in season 12 of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon won a Nobel Prize for a theory that was initially mistaken for false but resulted in being true.

After winning a Nobel Prize some movie producers might have offered Sheldon to make a series about his childhood.

Sheldon repeatedly expressed a belief that his biography will see the light one day in one form or another. So, if he was offered to guide the production of a series about himself, he would evidently accept the offer.

Those who might think that Young Sheldon depicts the events and the characters with too many details to be a meta series in TBBT, do not forget that Sheldon possesses a highly superior autobiographical memory.

So it is somehow possible that he could remember many things shown in Young Sheldon. However, another question is why would a biography about Sheldon pay too much attention to the minor characters?

It probably wouldn't.

The theory is interesting and entertaining but many think it doesn't hold water. If it really was a meta series, viewers (real-life viewers) would be given at least some hints to it.

However, it was previously reported that a new TBBT spin-off is in the works.

No details on the spin-off were revealed at the moment, but what a completely unexpected twist it will be, if the new show proves the theory.
