This 'Stranger Things' Season 4 Trailer Detail Has Fans Worried For Max's Life
'Stranger Things' is Netflix's biggest series, so naturally each season is eagerly anticipated, and each new trailer is carefully deconstructed by millions of fans online. Latest sneak peek at what's coming in season 4 had many loyal fans of the series actually scared for the fate of their favorite character.
Max (Sadie Sink ), who first appeared in season two, is a major character and newcomer to "The Party." She was abused by her half-brother Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery), making her a relatable and beloved character for many fans. Billy's death in season three was seen as some sort of "escape" for her, but, given the latest trailer, things may not be so simple.
One particular scene caught fans' attention – Max's unconscious body in the cemetery, surrounded by boys trying to bring her to her senses or comfort her. Fans speculated on two possibilities of what was going on – either she was dying or she was grieving deeply for her dead half-brother.
One thing is for sure – Max is developing some kind of superpowers, and the fact that she levitates in the trailer only confirms this assumption. However, that mysterious scene in the cemetery did leave the fans in the lurch. Max's intense emotions over her brother's death have fans worried about her mental and physical health.
Max's fate will remain uncertain until the first part of the fourth season is released on Netflix on May 27, 2022.
