This Is How Much Money Miley Cyrus Earns For A Single Insta Post
Better spit out your gum before this number makes you choke on it.
Summary
- Miley Cyrus has been a celebrity all her life.
- Her fame has added up to millions of instagram followers, and she can charge top dollar for sponsored posts.
- This is only one of many income streams for the millionaire singer.
Miley Cyrus was touched by celebrity even as a baby – after all, she was the daughter of country music star Billy Ray Cyrus. She then earned fame in her own right by becoming the star of the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana when she was only 13 years old.
Since then, Cyrus’ career has only grown. Even while Hannah Montana was still filming, she was releasing albums and beginning to be recognized world-wide for her music career. Cyrus is hard to pin down as an artist; she has pop, country, and rock hits all under her belt, and often experiments with new sounds.
In spite of all that, Cyrus’ intelligence and creative talent have often been overlooked. She has written much of her own music, become the driving force behind her career choices, and has the business acumen to keep growing her bank account.
All Grown Up and Charging Big Bucks
It’s been years since Hannah Montana wrapped, and Miley Cyrus still has a thriving career as a singer and actor. She’s racked up an incredible 216 million followers on social media, with fans hanging on her every word. Naturally, that means any brand represented in one of her posts is getting an awful lot of publicity. Like many celebrities, Cyrus is able to earn income with a single post.
According to Influencer Marketing Hub, Miley Cyrus is so popular that she is able to charge up to six figures for a SINGLE instagram post – an estimated $340,346 - $567,243.
Recent posts that came with a price tag include Gucci ads like this one.
Believe it or not, this doesn’t even put Cyrus in the top ten earners on Instagram – those celebrities all make at least one million dollars for every sponsored post. Holding the top spot is Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who makes an estimated $3.2 million per sponsored post. Selena Gomez clocks in at $2.5 million, while Beyonce Knowles can charge around $1.9 million.
So… I’m in the wrong industry, apparently.
Not Her Only Income Stream
Of course, Miley Cyrus wouldn’t exactly be out on the street if she wasn’t hawking insta ads. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she has an estimated $160 million in assets. Although that number probably involves a lot of guesswork, it makes sense when you consider her career.
Some of that money would have come from her Hannah Montana days. Although Cyrus started out earning $15,000 per episode, by the final season she was picking up a cool $250,000 for each one of the season’s 13 installments.
She was also a celebrity coach during seasons 11 and 13 of The Voice, where she reportedly earned $13 million per year. And on just one of her tours (Bangerz, 2014), she raked in $62 million over the course of 72 international shows.
Of course, like many rich Americans Cyrus has also made a fortune on property. In 2017 she bought a Nashville ranch for 5.8 million; in 2022 she sold the property for $14.6 million.
If that isn’t the American housing market in a nutshell, we don’t know what is.
Love her or hate her, there’s no doubt that Miley Cyrus is making her celebrity work for her. And it’s not all inflows: she’s donated to many charities, including her Happy Hippie foundation.
Still, if Miley Cyrus ever finds herself with too many millions, she should feel free to call me.
