This Fan Cast For Iconic Spider-Man Villains In Future Movies is Chef's Kiss
How about John Cena as a Spider-Man baddie?
Tom Holland 's Spider-Man is supposed to have a couple more movies. It might not be happening anytime soon, but fans share their cast suggestions for the villains we might see in those future movies. Let's check out the best of them.
Sharlto Copley as Green Goblin
We don't have Norman Osborn in the MCU yet, at least we never heard of him. Green Goblin is one of Spidey's key villains, so fans are hoping to see him soon.
Sharlto Copley is suggested for the role of Norman Osborn. Known for his performances in District 9 and Elysium, Sharlto Copley actually has the acting prowess to bring this character to life, and it would also help him get more recognition.
John Carroll Lynch as Doctor Octopus
With a diverse filmography that includes notable roles in Fargo and The Founder, John Carroll Lynch would be a great choice to portray the brilliant and tormented Doctor Octopus.
He actually remotely resembles the version of Doc Ock from Sony's 2018 Spider-Man video game.
John Cena as Sandman
This one is unexpected, yet absolutely plausible. John Cena's transition into Hollywood has been met with praise, and he already stepped into the superhero genre with the role of Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad.
It is an intriguing choice, and it's actually easy to imagine him in the role of Sandman. Without a doubt, he would be a fantastic villain.
John DeSantis as Rhino
Last time we saw Rhino was in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. This mechanized version of this villain was highly criticized, and many prefer to just forget about it. Rhino will now appear in the upcoming Sony's movie Kraven the Hunter.
If the MCU wants their own Rhino, they should seriously consider John DeSantis. You might remember him as Lurch in The New Addams Family.
John Cusack as Lizard
The fourth John in a row, John Cusack, recognized for his performances in films like High Fidelity and Being John Malkovich, might be the perfect fit for the Lizard character.
In the next Spider-Man movie, Tom Holland's Peter Parker is probably heading to college. So, it seems like a good opportunity to bring in Dr. Curt Connors.
