Who said there is no place for humor in the apocalypse?

Comedy is the last thing The Walking Dead is about, but even the zombie apocalypse TV series has some truly hilarious and memorable moments that had us bursting into laughter. We are about to remember some of the best of them.

Shane rubbing his head

This one became a meme among The Walking Dead fans. Once you start paying attention to Shane constantly rubbing his head, you just can’t forget about it, and it makes you laugh every time you catch him doing it.

You can even find “headrub” counts on YouTube, and it is as hilarious as it gets.

Milton asks to see Hershel's amputated Leg

In season 3, Milton's curiosity gets the better of him. He asks Hershel if he can take a look at his amputated leg for some important research on how to protect people from walker bites.

Now, that's a pretty bold and inappropriate question, and there are many ways Hershel could have responded. But Hershel's actual response is just priceless. He straight up says no and adds, "at least buy me a drink first."

The joke even gets Milton cracking up. It was a great comedic relief moment during the intense negotiations between Rick and The Governor.

Governor using a scope with the wrong eye

The Governor was one of the most memorable villains in the show. In one particular scene, he wielded a rifle with a scope but mistakenly used it with the wrong eye.

This simple yet hilarious blunder had us wondering how he managed to aim accurately with an eye patch.

Negan and his bat

Negan, the charismatic yet sadistic leader of the Saviors, is known for his weapon — the infamous barbed-wire-wrapped baseball bat named Lucille.

In one particular scene, Negan playfully intimidates his henchman who brought him his bat. Negan asks him if he was gentle with her, if he treated her like a lady, and if he pet her “little p*ssy.”

The sheer absurdity of the moment just proves that even the most intimidating characters can have their hilarious moments.

Rick And Daryl chasing Jesus

In season 6, Rick and Daryl find themselves chasing a stranger named Jesus. With Jesus hilariously tricking Rick and Daryl, and their truck eventually sinking in the lake, the scene played out like a slapstick comedy.
