These Two Friends' Characters So Don't Deserve the Love They Got From the Main Guys

Friends is no stranger to introducing us to strange romances. Over the course of 10 seasons, there were plenty of questionable affairs that we doubt people would be happy about in real life. But maybe that was okay for a sitcom, because they served as a kind of comedic relief.

But there were several romantic storylines that fans actually thought were meaningful and leading somewhere, only to witness them end up as complete disappointments. The first one is the love story between Kathy, Joey and Chandler.

At first she was Joey's girlfriend, although it seemed that they did not have that much in common, except for sharing the same job. Over time, Chandler began to realize that there was a special chemistry between him and Kathy, and they accidentally ended up kissing. This was the first time Kathy cheated on the show.

Although it was a bad thing to do, at the time we felt bad for Kathy and Chandler because we saw with our own eyes how hard it was for them to keep their distance and how bright the spark was between them. Eventually, Joey forgave Chandler and was okay with him dating her. Little did he know that she would also break his friend's heart...

Kathy cheated on Chandler later in the show when he started to be unreasonably jealous of her towards the guy she shared the stage with. But those accusations only remained false for some time, as later, when he realized he had pushed it too far, he came back to apologize and actually saw her with the very man he was worried about.

The second story started out the same way. Charlie unexpectedly started dating Joey just as Ross was about to make a move on her. And they didn't have anything in common either. Charlie was a perfect match for Ross and she soon realized it.

She made everything right by breaking up with Joey and only then starting something with Ross. But such a luxurious turn of events was not something she had prepared for Ross. She cheated on our favorite paleontologist right in front of him when her crazy ex-boyfriend told her he missed her and wanted her back.

The fans hate these two serial cheaters equally and they may be the only ones on the show who deserve it all the way.
