There's at Least One MCU Character Officially as Strong as Thor
And we are yet to see the best of him.
Who is the strongest Avenger? This question has sparked a lot of debates even among the MCU heroes themselves. A lot of people think that the strongest one is Captain Marvel, while others are absolutely faithful to Thor.
But it turns out that there is officially a character who is just as strong as the God of Thunder. This character is in fact an anti-hero, who is yet to be introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Yes, we're talking about Namor, the ruler of Talocan and one of the few MCU characters who are officially confirmed to be mutants. According to director Ryan Coogler, Namor can actually even be as strong as Hulk.
"[There's] no equal in terms of his capabilities, being able to breathe underwater and breathe at high altitudes and walk around on land. He's incredibly strong, he's as strong as Thor, and if he's around enough water he can be as strong as the Hulk," director Ryan Coogler told Marvel.
As of now, we are unlikely to see a battle that would show who, in fact, would win. Thor appears to be too busy with his own journey and New Asgard, while Hulk might soon discover himself in the middle of the events described in Marvel's World War Hulk.
With Namor now being touted as a character as strong as Thor, fans were quick to share their own opinion.
"MCU Namor could 100% KO Thor, tbh the only one who could probably beat Namor, (or Kang for that matter) in hand to hand combat is Shang-Chi. MCU Kang has mastered nearly every fighting style in the multiverse, due to temporal manipulation giving him thousands of years to do so," Twitter user bob_cat_man said.
Others, however, argued that the fact that Shuri actually manages to relatively easily defeat Namor in Wakanda Forever makes her a bit overpowered. This could potentially anger Namor fans when they see the movie, some of those who have already seen it suggested.
Whether that is true or not remains to be seen in Wakanda Forever as soon as it is released in theaters on November 11.
