Seems like this couple didn't have much of a shot right from the start.

Chemistry between on-screen couples can make or break a television series. In the case of The Walking Dead, the show has witnessed numerous successful relationships and captivating love stories.

However, fans shared their opinion on Reddit, agreeing that Rosita and Gabriel's relationship seems like the one that has fallen flat.

One of the primary reasons fans feel that Rosita and Gabriel lack chemistry is the forced nature of their relationship. The sudden pairing of Rosita and Gabriel seemed unnatural and out of sync with their respective character arcs.

Fans believe their romance felt random and hastily developed, leaving everyone feeling disconnected from their love story.

Chemistry often stems from the compatibility of two individuals and the way their personalities complement each other. With Rosita and Gabriel, it's like they're on different wavelengths, and that's why fans feel their chemistry is lacking.

Rosita, known for her strength, independence, and fierce determination, contrasts sharply with Gabriel's more reserved, contemplative nature.

Their differences fail to create the sparks and tension that viewers expect from a compelling couple.

Memorable moments shared between a couple can leave a lasting impression on viewers, creating a sense of investment in their relationship. Unfortunately, Rosita and Gabriel's storylines have not provided many significant shared moments that resonate with fans.

Rosita and Gabriel haven't had much chance to shine together because other characters and plot lines kept stealing the spotlight. So their relationship hasn't had the chance to grow.

In an interview to The Hollywood Reporter, TWD showrunner Angela Kang said that they have been discussing a lot with Christian Serratos (who portrayed Rosita) about a possible pairing for her. And they ended up with Gabriel as it seemed like they would make an interesting couple

Unfortunately, Rosita and Gabriel's relationship has suffered from poor writing choices and underdeveloped character arcs. The lack of attention given to their growth as a couple has left fans feeling disengaged.

By neglecting to explore their relationship in depth, the show missed an opportunity to create a compelling love story that fans could invest in emotionally.
