No wonder he loved his job so much!

Summary:

  • The Big Bang Theory was a CBS sitcom that has been running since 2007 to 2019.
  • Although there were 7 regular characters, there was one side character who stood out the most to viewers, Stuart.
  • Many believe that the only person who truly cared for Stuart throughout the show was Debbie Wolowitz, Howard’s mother.

The Big Bang Theory was a great TV show that made many people forget about the everyday struggles they had to face outside of their own homes. It was light-hearted and fun, yet it tackled many fundamental issues such as friendship, romance, and family.

It was easy to relate to at least one of the characters and see how they dealt with life's hardships instead of projecting them onto themselves.

However, it wasn't so easy to watch the show when Stuart came into the picture, as his character is still considered the one that the writers have done the dirtiest. Although he started out as a somewhat confident and funny guy with his own business, things got worse as the story progressed.

His confidence vanished along with his bookstore, and the endless depression took over. Even worse, no one took him seriously, except for one character who welcomed him with open arms.

These two may not come to mind when you think of friendship goals from The Big Bang Theory, but they are definitely up there with Penny and Sheldon, with the exception that neither of them has actually upset the other. In fact, this relationship could easily be called the most wholesome on the show.

Stuart turned out to be the person who was kind enough to agree to be Debbie's caretaker when she lost her ability to move when she broke her leg. Luckily for him, they found a quick connection that was very innocent but so strong that it even managed to make her son Howard jealous of his position.

In addition, Debbie was so attached to Stuart that she suggested he stay at her house while he figured out his future life after the business he was so invested in burned down. This gesture only underscored the closeness of their relationship and established Mrs. Wolowitz as one of Stuart's closest friends.

Unfortunately, their friendship didn't last very long, as Debbie Wolowitz had to pass away next to the actress who voiced the character, Carol Ann Susi. However, if you want to get nostalgic and relive the best moments between the two, you can do so by streaming The Big Bang Theory on Max.
