The Office's theme song may have no lyrics, but it's one of the most recognizable hits all over the world. Probably.

Have you ever thought that there's a way to make the theme song better? Well, there is, but it requires a mashup with the hit by one of Britain's finest singers.

One fan sped up The Office 's theme song a little bit and mashed it up with Adele's Someone Like You, and it all fits perfectly. Seriously, just listen, you won't be able to get it out of your head like ever.

Some users even point out that the girl speaking at the beginning kind of syncs up to the tune as well. The reason it works, but we never noticed it before?

Simple. Any skilled musician can tell you that both songs have the same relative chord structure (as one commenter shared), and that's why they seem to complement each other.

By the way, The Office's theme song came first (in 2005), and Adele's hit was released six years later, in 2011.

Now the real question is – would we ever get a remake/reboot/revival with this theme song instead? Pretty please? We can dream!

It's funny how this mashup has gone viral, and people are now saying that if the UK version of the show had had it as the theme song, it would've beaten the US remake to the punch.

That's not to say that the British show's theme song wasn't good (it was, it just had a totally different ring to it).

Or maybe it could be the other way around. We all just needed one Brit to bring the two shows together. Now, all the hardcore fans on both sides can finally be at peace.

After all this, Adele needs to release an album called That's What She Said or something, otherwise, we are going to riot.
