One of the series' most iconic characters is undoubtedly Pam Beesly.

She is known for being the innocent receptionist who eventually becomes the love interest of the show's prankster, Jim Halpert.

But while the sweetheart may be a fan favorite, there are still things about her personality that many viewers find frustrating.

One user, mrnotadvice, decided to take their disgust with Pam to Reddit. For a long time, Beesly and Halpert seemed to many fans to be the most relatable couple on The Office, even though Jim often crossed the line and the receptionist used her position and natural charm to get what she wanted.

The first thing the Redditor brings up is that Pam lied to get the office administrator job. The show fan also mentions Beesly's frequent flirting with the cameraman as an extension of the list of flaws.

Her awkward smiles and winks are seen by viewers as an emotional betrayal of Jim.

The Office fans often criticize Pam for cheating. She left one man for another when she was already engaged. But Pam was also partly to blame for the scandal between Halpert and Karen, a co-worker from another office who certainly wasn't guilty of anything.

Pam began to play a shady game, intentionally forcing Jim to pay attention to her. It was all about rekindling her relationship with Roy or dating all kinds of losers. Beesly deliberately let the whole office know about her plans, which had to reflect on Halpert.

The Redditor suggests that we also remember the art school moment when the show's main couple started dating, Pam decided to go to New York after all.

Jim supported his girlfriend's decision, visiting her in the city and even proposing to her during this time, but Beesly did not want to encourage him in the same position and made him leave Athlead in season 9.

It took Pam a year to stop thinking about herself and realize that she was forcing Jim to sacrifice his dreams and desires.

While fans agree with the Redditor's opinion, they joke that it's 10 years out of date, and some point out that it was the character flaws that made the show so interesting.
