We will never stop speculating on these ones.

Though The Office, a sitcom that captures the everyday absurdities of office life, is known for its humor and lighthearted tone, fans are sure that it also has some dark and intriguing secrets that add a new layer of complexity to the show's narrative.

While these theories can't be officially confirmed, they offer a unique perspective and thought-provoking interpretations.

Here are our favorite dark fan theories about The Office.

Roy Cheated On Pam…With Angela

There were so many hints. First, in the game "Who Would You Do?" Roy didn't even hesitate when he said he would hit on Angela.

Angela, in turn, also paid some attention to Pam's fiancé. When Roy returns to the office for his last paycheck, Angela calls him "very strong," and we see Kevin giggling in the background, which can literally mean that Kevin knew what they both were doing behind those doors.

Fans consider that an affair could have happened the same night that Jim admitted his feelings for Pam in the Casino Night episode.

Well, that would explain why Angela always had something against her co-worker — she hated the fact that Roy chose Pam over her.

The Documentary Crew Kept The Scranton Branch Afloat

The Scranton branch seems to be cursed with the misfortunes, absurdities, and general dysfunction observed throughout the series. It remains unclear how the branch makes a profit for Dunder Mifflin.

This fan theory may provide the answer.

Fans believe that in order to finish the documentary about the Dunder Mifflin employees, the crew may have been buying an enormous amount of paper to keep the Scranton branch alive and continue the shooting process.

Angela Killed Dwight's Aunt

We all remember when Dwight killed Angela's sick cat so it wouldn't suffer. What if Angela did the same to his Aunt Shirley?

Angela never really forgave Dwight for what he did to her beloved cat Sprinkles, and when the moment of revenge came, she took it.

Why else would Dwight's sick aunt die right after he asked Angela to take care of her? An eye for an eye, an aunt for a cat.

Creed Is From The Manson Family

The origin of Creed Bratton's character has always been a mystery, but one thing we do know for sure is that he is a former criminal.

Some fans believe that his criminal past may be even deeper than we thought.

At one point Creed appears covered in blood, suggesting that he has murdered someone, he is also a former musician who was addicted to drugs and has a solid knowledge of cults. Sound familiar?

Also, while giving some relationship advice to Andy, he also referred to the pact with established members of the Manson family in great detail. We know how dark it sounds, but it seems that fans have finally solved Creed's mystery.

Stanley And Phyllis Had A One-Night Stand

So at this point The Office turns into Friends, where all the characters are somehow connected to each other. But yes, this theory suggests that Stanley once had an affair with Phyllis while he still was married.

These two knew each other long before the filming started and they seem very close friends.

In the last episode, Stanley revealed that he had three affairs during the shooting but, at this point, the viewers knew only about two of them.

Phyllis also hints at having a one-night stand over the course of the show, which basically means that these two might have been closer than we thought.

While these fan theories add a dark twist to The Office, it's important to remember that they are fan-made interpretations and not official canon.

But don't we all like to add a little spice to ordinary things?
