The Office Cast Impressions Of Each Other Were a Crime to Cut From Season 6
The Office robbed itself of the most perfect impressions scene.
Pranks, jokes, and spoofs (especially the cringeworthy ones) are the essence of The Office. So why were they cut in the first place?
The Office fans believe that if you put all the deleted scenes together, there would be just enough for a whole new season of their beloved show. Some of the scenes that never made it to the final cut were so golden that people can't believe the creators decided to cut them.
In an extended version of season 6 episode 22, titled The Cover-Up, there is a nearly two-minute treasure of a deleted scene in which several Dunder Mifflin employees make impressions of each other. And while we all know that identity theft is no joke, these were just too good to leave out.
Seriously, if you listened to Jim's impression of Andy with your eyes closed, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. And Pam's Stanley? She managed to capture that "I don't care" energy in the most perfect way ever. And as for Dwight's impression of Creed, that was just too much for the author of the iconic identity theft quote.
Yes, Hannibal Lecter (perfectly done by Creed) and Chandler (voiced by Ryan) are not Dunder Mifflin employees, but when it comes to great parody skills, that doesn't really matter, does it?
This and other deleted scenes can be found in Peacock 's "superfan" episodes of The Office, with the extended versions available for the first six seasons of the show.
The Office aired on NBC from 2005 to 2013, ending after nine seasons.
