The New Witcher Actor Had Kissing Scenes with Jennifer Lawrence, and He Really Hated Them
Liam Hemsworth named kissing scenes with J-Law as the worst experience of his entire acting career, and before you rebel, he had a really strong reason for that.
While some of you might have only recently learned about Chris Hemsworth 's younger brother, Liam has been around for years, and his acting career has been going on quite well. Perhaps, his most famous role (prior to Geralt of Rivia, of course), was that of Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games franchise.
In the movies, Liam's Gale was a close friend, an ally, and a lover of Katniss Everdeen, the protagonist of the franchise who was played by Jennifer Lawrence. Thanks to The Hunger Games, Hemsworth and Lawrence became close friends and maintain their budding relationship to this day, but things haven't been that simple.
Because of their great on-screen chemistry, rumors about these two actors dating have been circulating for years. Neither Liam nor Jennifer confirmed them, but even Hemsworth's ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus, apparently, also thought that the two were secretly seeing each other as revealed in her music clip for the song Flowers.
All that drama and speculations only make Liam Hemsworth's recent revelation yet funnier, though. During his appearance on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon asked the actor about his most awkward scene, and Hemsworth immediately called out his co-star for making every kissing scene weird and uncomfortable for him.
"Any time I had to kiss Jennifer was pretty uncomfortable, pretty awkward. <...> She's one of my best friends, I love her, but, if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish — something that was disgusting and, right before the scene she'd be like, 'Yeah, I had tuna, I had garlic, and I didn't brush my teeth.' [And I'm like,] 'Fantastic, I can't wait to get in there and taste it,'" shared Liam.
This doesn't sound too fun for Hemsworth to deal with, but from the outside, it's hilarious…and also a great way for J-Law to ensure that her relationship with Liam remains strictly in the "best pals" zone. Making your male friend suffer each time you kiss is sure to prevent any unnecessary feelings from developing on his side.
