Henry Cavill has revealed what was the most challenging scene in his career and it has nothing to do with either The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia or DC Extended Universe Superman.

During a press tour for Enola Holmes series released in October the award-winning actor told Collider about what he had to endure while filming a helicopter scene for Mission: ImpossibleFallout by Christopher McQuarrie, the sixth movie of the action franchise.

"Physically the most enduring […] was a 'Mission: Impossible' helicopter sequence. It was so extremely cold, literally above the Southern Alps in winter, with the doors open on a helicopter. I'm sticking my face into the wind and firing blanks, with all sorts of stuff flying back at me, and just doing it over, and over, and over again," The Witcher actor said.

He followed the gestures of his pilot to get a gist of what was happening and either to keep on acting or stop because the crew stopped shooting. He also had to check on Tom Cruise's helicopter and the camera ship. Once it pulled away it was a sigh of relief for Cavill as he could "sit back in" and catch his breath.

"I'll do that for 40 minutes, then land, and then sit by a little Red Rad heater, warm my hands up. Within a half an hour they're like, "Right, we're refueled. Let's go again."

The shooting lasted for at least two weeks and the only option was to man up. Cavill says it was rough but he "absolutely loved the sequence, and it was so worth it." Unfortunately, Mission: Impossible series got so many good, great or simply insane action scenes that this particular one is ofter overlooked.

Henry Cavill joined the Mission: Impossible franchise in 2018. In its sixth entry Fallout he inhabited the character of the assassin August Walker, the main antagonist of the movie. The film also starred Tom Cruise who made a comeback as Ethan Hunt. With its box office of more than $790 million worldwide Mission: Impossible – Fallout has become the highest grossing of the whole sequence. No wonder! Have you seen its bathroom fight scene with Cruise and Cavill? Worth it!

Henry Cavill has recently revealed he could have been James Bond hadn't the franchise producers chosen Daniel Craig. He was really close during his audition for 2006 movie Casino Royale but the British film star was considered too young to play Her Majesty's secret service agent. But with the recent revelations about a challenging helicopter scene and the way he coped with it, it looks like Cavill would make a perfect James Bond, wouldn't he?
