Two of the MCU 's most chaotic characters appear to be embracing and kissing on the cover of Scarlet Witch #8, due out in September 2023. However, such covers can often be misleading and are used to generate interest in the MCU world which may hint at a deeper connection between the characters.
Wanda Maximoff, a Romani sorceress also known as the Scarlet Witch, and Loki, the God of Mischief, are undoubtedly two of the most divisive and unpredictable characters in the MCU.
While their interactions in the MCU films have been relatively limited, they have made several appearances together in comic books.
Despite this, however, the internet has been abuzz with discussion about the possibility of a relationship between them.
Loki and Scarlet Witch are both classic Marvel comic book characters, with Loki first being created in 1949 and Scarlet Witch 15 years later in 1964.
While there have been tweaks to their origins and backgrounds, their core characteristics are intact in the MCU. Loki is the mischievous God, while Scarlet Witch is the possessor of chaos magic and the power to alter the universe.
