While the season 3 finale is fast approaching, fans are only drop-fed information about it — and they're really disappointed by what they've learned so far.

As of now, there are many plotlines that need to be resolved or at least addressed in the last episode of season 3.

Just when it almost seemed that the Mandalorian was slowly dying off, the last episode threw so much our way: with Moff Gideon back and the tease of the Emperor's resurrection and the First Order's rise to power, everyone is back to their screens, waiting for the grand finale to cover all of these.

Or rather, everyone was excited from the last episode until yesterday's revelation.

Yesterday, Cryptic4KQual, one of the main Disney insiders, shared what they managed to learn about The Mandalorian's season 3 finale on Twitter.

According to their information, the last episode of the season will only take… 38 minutes and 56 seconds!

Even without the credits, it's way too short of an episode, and now the show's fans are seriously concerned: with the number of storylines and hints thrown our way by the previous episode, it's hard to imagine how they can all fit into just under forty minutes.

Some Twitter users try to recap everything the main characters have to do in that time: saving Mando, defending the fleet, dealing with Moff Gideon and the royal guards, and seeing the Mythosaur.

This seems impossible considering the limitations.

Hundreds of people are wondering what this decision could mean for the grand finale. Most of them are feeling pretty pessimistic because of the revealed runtime, and blame Disney for ruining the season's end.

Some of the fans, however, actually try to defend Disney and The Mandalorian's writers.

They claim that the runtime itself doesn't matter, and maybe, the writers just managed to fit everything so neatly that they just didn't need to make the finale longer.

Whether Mandalorian manages to complete all the storylines in such a limited time span or not, for now, we can only wait and see.

As soon as the last episode drops, we'll get the answers.
