The List of All 9 Gilmore Girls Episodes with Cozy Christmas-y Vibes
Let's face it: it feels like the entire world is on fire right now.
Perhaps it's time to escape to Stars Hollow, where eight years worth of Christmas episodes will soothe your mind with the power of tinsel, snowflakes, and some extremely fast talking.
-
"Forgiveness and Stuff" (Season 1, Episode 10)
When Lorelai is uninvited to the Gilmore Christmas dinner, she sulks at the diner. Luke creates a Santa-shaped hamburger for her as Rory attends the dinner – where Richard collapses and is rushed to the hospital.
The episode highlight is definitely that Santa burger – it really is incredible, even if it looks disgusting.

-
"The Bracebridge Dinner" (Season 2, Episode 10)
Lorelai has pulled out all the stops at the inn, and is ready with a seven-course meal and Elizabethan-themed party. The catch? Her guests are all stuck at the airport, and all of it is going to go to waste.
This episode is often listed in fans' "Top Three" lists, and it's no mystery why. It's funny, heartwarming, and endlessly quotable.

-
"That'll Do, Pig" (Season 3, Episode 10)
Who doesn't love a carnival? If that wasn't enough to get you into this episode, Gran (aka Trix) arrives in Stars Hollow, and Emily Gilmore is suddenly on the receiving end of a disapproving mother figure.

-
"In the Clamor and the Clangor" (Season 4, Episode 11)
A restored belfry sounds nice (and Christmasy!) but the bells are driving everyone nuts – so Lorelai and Luke team up on a sneaky escapade to break some of them. However, Lorelai is hurt that Luke neglected to mention he's living with another woman.

-
"Women of Questionable Morals" (Season 5, Episode 11)
We love Luke just as he is – gruff, grumpy, and not particularly romantic. But that just makes his sentimental moments even more swoony.
Take this lovely Christmas episode, when Lorelai's "long-term relationship" with snow starts to break down. A series of unfortunate snow-related events makes life at the inn incredibly difficult, but just as Lorelai is about to break up with snow forever, Luke creates an ice rink in her front yard.

-
"Just Like Gwen and Gavin" (Season 6, Episode 12)
Hooray, another carnival episode! But it's hard to pay attention to that, because it turns out Luke has a long-lost daughter and she is… er… here. It's been six years, Luke! Come on! At least Rory is on the rise, as the new editor-in-chief of the Yale Daily News.

"Merry Fisticuffs" (Season 7, Episode 10)
Lorelai and Christopher argue over her commitment to the marriage, and when Christopher sees his wife share a sweet moment with Luke his jealousy gets the better of him.
Meanwhile, Logan discovers that Rory has been lying about not knowing Marty until recently and Luke gets legal help over his custody battle.

"Santa's Secret Stuff" (Season 7, Episode 11)
In the second half of this Christmas nightmare, Lorelai and Christopher decide to put off celebrating until Rory returns from London. Once she's home, they decorate several trees and bake cookies for the first time as a family. (Go AWAY, Christopher!)

"Winter" (A Year in the Life, Episode 1)
After years of pining for Stars Hollow, we got a bonus Christmas episode with "A Year in the Life"! Sure, this is more about the entire season of winter than about one specific holiday – but we say it counts!
The return to Stars Hollow shows us that Luke and Lorelai are going strong (finally), but heartbreakingly they have to deal with the death of Lorelai's father.
