The Last Of Us is the first HBO series stemming from a video game.

What's more interesting is that it was developed simultaneously by Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, Naughty Dog, which created the game more than a decade ago.

The Last Of Us is a post-apocalyptic drama series that follows the story of a smuggler named Joel, portrayed by Pedro Pascal, who has to transfer a girl named Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey, across zombie-infested America.

The show was an instant success and right away got renewed for a second season.

In a BBC talk-show, Bella Ramsey, 19, whom you might also know as Lyanna Mormont from The Game Of Thrones, admitted to being scared while filming The Last Of Us when the hostess confessed that she could only watch the series during daytime – so scary it was.

The two than discussed the show a little bit further and came to the conclusion that such degree of attention to detail the producers had put into creating the series was what made it look so realistic.

Even on set, devoid of all VFX, it must have felt eerie. It was indeed so since the zombies are not added with the help of graphics – they are real people made-up for their roles.

So, when in a scene the walking dead charge at you, you must feel it to the tee.

"The actors that play them are quick and incredibly talented. It's terrifying," Ramsey said, praising the work of her mostly unknown colleagues.

The actress agreed that, of course, The Last Of Us is much scarier when all the CGI is added.

However spooky she found playing Ellie, not everyone is a fan of her portrayal. Some express their disbelief at her fear because she didn't show any, playing the character.

"I've been trying so hard to give her a chance at playing Ellie but here acting is so wooden. No emotion at all which is gonna be necessary for season two," wrote Ty in a YouTube comment.

Anyway, this seems to be the matter of taste, while The Last Of Us was generally well-accepted. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been prolonged for a second season whose release date is yet to be announced.
