With only two proper scenes in episode 3 of 'The Boys', Jensen Ackles ' Soldier Boy already has fans rallying for a spin-off that would be focused on his origin story.
There is a certain paradox in how fans immediately fell for Ackles' quite appalling character, who from the first seconds seems to be a jerk. However, this is the case when people just love to hate the character, even when he tells women to smile more and downplays basically everyone around him.
Despite being plainly despicable, Soldier Boy does have a tumultuous past, having been taking part in World War II and officially touted as America's greatest hero – much like Marvel's Captain America. Only in 'The Boys', the American legend seems to have a slightly less heroic story than the media told the people.
Fans are already reaching out to 'The Boys' official accounts asking for more Soldier Boy content.
In fact, the online campaign demanding the Soldier Boy spin-off started long before the premiere of season 3, with fans showing in Jensen Ackles' character's past ever since he was announced.
'The Boys' season 3 premiered on June 3, with five more episodes to arrive one by one every week until July.
