The Boys Fans Are Getting Ready for the Hardest Character Death Yet

While there has been some character development for some of The Boys ' characters over the seasons of the show, no one really expects any of them to be redeemed. In fact, with a show like this, viewers are better off hoping for the best but always preparing for the worst. So far, that has always proven to be the case.

Even though you may think that there is nothing in season 4 that could get to you emotionally, as the show has already desensitized its viewers to all kinds of gore and horror, there is a big storm coming. At least that is what the fans believe and try to prepare for.

Who Will Die on The Boys Season 4?

If there's one character who's done nothing wrong in the entire series, it has to be the only prominent non-human. Ambrosius, the octopus who ended up in a sexual relationship with The Deep, is one of the elements of the show that makes it so wild and extremely disturbing. Still, it's hard to resist her charm when she speaks in Tilda Swinton's voice.

Unfortunately, now that The Deep seems to be very deep into his affair with Sister Sage, which is pure comedy in itself, there are very few chances for Ambrosius to remain as relevant in the superhero's life as before. In fact, her poorly cleaned tank and complete neglect can be taken as a sign that the relationship is already over.

However, knowing how The Boys operates, fans don’t expect The Deep to simply let his ex-octopus girlfriend swim free or donate her to the pet store. The r/TheBoys subreddit collectively believes something horrible is bound to happen to her in the next few episodes to come:

“I feel like at the end of the season Sage is going to stop f#cking around with Deep, and he’s gonna run back to Ambrosius for support and just find her dead,” Redditor OryxisDaddy_ suggested.

While some people think it won't be that easy and that Sage will have to find out about Ambrosius first, others just hope for a peaceful end for her. As disgusting as it was to have The Deep involved with an animal, The Boys should not continue the theme of animal abuse. But we all know what this show is capable of.
