The Big Bang Theory is a worldwide treasure. It’s a comfort show for many people when they need to light up their days, or even a background noise show (if you are on rerun number 14). It doesn’t matter though how many times you have watched the show, the jokes will always sound funny, and you will always laugh at them.

But apparently you’ll laugh more than when the characters on screen are joking, because almost every one of their interactions is funny enough, especially when it comes to Sheldon and Amy.

Every time Sheldon is on screen you know that he is going to say or do something that will blow your mind out, and still he always manages to surprise you with how he chooses to behave. And the same goes about Amy. But when they are together they just open the portal to the nonsense only they can understand.

However, there are times when they seem to be out of sync. For example, do you remember Sheldon's Internet show Fun With Flags? In episode 7 of season 6, Sheldon's guest was his favorite archenemy/friend Will Wheaton, and Amy seemed to hate it.

She was working as a cameraman and kept interrupting the shots, claiming that Wheaton was doing a bad job. She was so annoying that Wheaton finally snapped and insulted her.

Of course, Amy was shocked and wanted Sheldon to defend her, but the man was caught in an awkward position: on the one hand, there's his girlfriend, who wants him to take her side because that's what couples do, even though she's being unreasonable, but on the other hand, there's his friend, who actually did nothing wrong.

“The episode is written like we're supposed to agree with her that Sheldon was in the wrong for not taking her side, but the fight was completely her fault, and Sheldon had no need to defend her since she was rude to Wil Wheaton in the first place,” Redditor King_Kong_The_eleven said.
