The kitchen mess is definitely coming back.

We’re only a few weeks away from finally getting to see what The Bear season 3 has in store for those following the whole kitchen drama since its very beginning. The show left its lead character, Carmy, at not the best moment when his brand new haute cuisine restaurant failed to make an impression on the opening night.

Now that it’s pretty clear that Carmy isn’t the one to give up on his biggest dream, the upcoming third installment seems to be promising even more obstacles on his way, and this time the rest of the team has something to do with it.

A brand new teaser released a couple of days ago suggests that Carmy is about to go much further in his ambitious plan to make the restaurant the best place in Chicago.

In the less-than-a-minute-long video, the character lets his team know that they'd better adopt a new way of working by changing the menu every day, making it clear that this is what all the high-level restaurants do to eventually get a Michelin star.

Carmy’s colleagues don’t appear to be that excited about this idea, especially given that they all got another pile of work to do since the restaurant’s opening.

The video also hints at the team’s current inability to carry everything out in an impeccable way as it catches Neil Fak, the former diner’s part-time handyman, accidentally overfilling a customer’s glass of water.

The teaser thus gives a little sneak peek into the real reason for the whole kitchen steamy atmosphere that has been speculated about for months ever since the third season was announced, revealing that the team’s chase for a prestigious award is to blame for Carmy’s tense relationship with his colleagues.

The Bear season 3 will arrive on Hulu on June 27.
