A smart one, nevertheless.

Remember when we were all suddenly forced to huddle together with our friends and families in our tiny apartments and houses?

Well, while some people took advantage of it and learned a new skill or took the time to finally get all the chores done, others spent their free time watching their favorite TV shows on repeat.

However, this was only possible in a scenario where you didn't have any problems with the people you ended up in lockdown with. Even if you have had a few fights with your loved ones, be thankful that you survived those tough times, and that you are not trapped in an apartment with a Sheldon Cooper type.

As Jim Parsons, who portrayed Sheldon during The Big Bang Theory 's long run, admitted in an interview with Jimmy Fallon, his character would thrive in these conditions. And we all know what happens when Sheldon thrives: he makes everyone else miserable.

“I was saying earlier, we had an entire episode – which I didn’t think about until recently – where he did like a Shel-bot where he had a video screen on a remote control wheelie thing. And that was when people still needed to get together in groups, and he would just send that out and sit in his room,” he said.

The episode the actor is referring to is called The Cruciferous Vegetable Amplification (S4E2), and it just goes to show that Sheldon doesn't even have to be in the room to make everyone around him suffer. One thing we can be sure of, however, is that he would be extremely responsible.

While his precautions against germs of any kind might be annoying at any other time, the COVID pandemic would have been the only setting in which they would have been appropriate. Rest assured, Sheldon would be the kind of person to tell everyone to wear masks on their chins and break the social distance.

If you want to re-watch the show and try to imagine the chaos that would ensue in Sheldon and Leonard's apartment if neither of them could leave the house, you can stream The Big Bang Theory on Netflix or MAX.
